Advocacy: Acting as an advocate for the child's needs by collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
Family Support: Helping parents and caregivers access parenting education, family counseling, financial assistance programs, housing resources, and other supportive services that promote a safe and stable home environment.
Educational Support: Coordinating with schools to ensure children receive appropriate educational services, behavioral supports, and accommodations when needed.
Emotional and Behavioral Support: Referring children to qualified mental health providers who specialize in addressing the emotional effects of abuse, neglect, trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges.
Resource Navigation: Assisting families in accessing food assistance, clothing, childcare resources, transportation, and other essential services that contribute to a child's overall well-being.
Ongoing Monitoring: Regularly following up with families to monitor progress, evaluate service effectiveness, and adjust care plans as the child's needs change.
Crisis Intervention: Providing support during family crises by coordinating immediate services and helping families navigate emergency situations safely and effectively.
